Ok the idea for this swap is a combination of many swaps I have been in.

You will be tying a set of 12 flies. Any pattern your choice. They can contain any material you want but they must contain 1 material that is not usually used for tying flies.

This will be for 12 tiers, 12 flies each.

Signup deadline Feb 15

Flies due to me no later than Mar 15

Send your flies in a box big enough and strong enough to hold the flies you will be getting back.

Also enclose a self addressed stamped envelope big enough and strong enough to send the box back to you. Please put your on line name on your box and your envelopes.

When you sign up please list the fly and its size. The reason I want the size is so tiers can better judge what size box to send.

Got PM. Something in the 12 to 20 range… Is there a size that most people would like a scud in? I was thinking 14ish (+ of - a hook size)

Count me in John, I’ll figure out someting to tie and something different to tie with, maybe some blond wig hair, or maybe a trip to the dollar store will be in order, It’ll be something size 10-14 nymph type pattern probably unless I use the wig hair then it’ll be sire 2 to 2/0 for bass or pike.

I’ll let you know what I come up with. put me down with TBA, By the way thios is an awsome swap topic.

Please count me in. I’ll be tying a Rubber Legged Dragon variation, size #8, with some material I just picked up at a needlecraft store. The material is called Mini-Garland. Picked up 2 different colors, copper and black, not sure yet which I will be using.

Guess I’ll join in, size 10 not sure what to call it, I know the hook it will be on, what it will be tied with, and about what it will look like, Isn’t a name though since I haven’t even tied one yet. :slight_smile:
