Santa Wish List
Dear Santa,
I have been a good Fly Tier and Fly Fisher this year and am writing to
tell you what I would like to have for Christmas. We have discussed in
the fly tying chat at Flyanglersonline.com what everyone wants and I have
listed it all below. I hope you have a wonderful holiday and I will leave some
milk, cookies, and flies on the table next to the tree for you Christmas Eve night.
Lady Jane – wants a Renzetti travel vise that is a pedestal model, books
and books on flytying stuff, a Ron Kusse bamboo rod, and a roll top desk
for fly tying. Can get the things LJ wants from the Foothills Fly Shop.
Winston --wants a Regal tying vise, and a pair of Action Optics glasses.
Tam --wants to go back home for a bit. Just to hear the reel scream a
few days.
troutman --wants a spare spool for a Ross CO-1 reel and a case of Fosters
for Old rupe. The spool can come from Austin Reed Outfitters.
Rick --Wants a book from Amato Publications by Brian Chan & Skip Morris
on Stillwater Trout Fishing and Patterns. Can be purchased in shops in
hometown.
Jerry --wants a Winston LT 5pc. 8’9" 4wt. with a birds eye maple reel
seat and an A.T. Hart reel, plus a win in the lottery.
RC --wants a Bogdan Reel to show up.
Spey Fly --wants to go home to Scotland for Christmas, but will take a
15’ 10/11wt. Hardy Spey Fly Rod.
duck --wants a float tube, fly tying tool travel case, and time to spend
with them. Plus good family and friends at Christmas.
Arnie --wants a Wyoming fishing license and any plastic bag that says
“Hoffman” on it and more time to enjoy them both.
Tangled Angler – wants a 3 weight outfit.
Grizz --would like a free trip to Tropics.
Bob --wants an Orvis 5 wt. 2pc. 8’6" Fly rod glx model or other.
David --wants a trip to saltwater somewhere to fish the flats.
Flyguy --book: The Fly Tiers Benchside Reference to Techniques and
Dressing Styles, Frank Amato Publications (can order off their website.)
buchers --1 perfect week of good fishing weather, good water, trout
rising to dry flies size 10 so I can see them. 3 days will do though.
tropic --wants a very good & strong useful line winder for fly lines.
LB --wants a Dickerson Rod.
BEARCAT–a golden rule tool, a chest to put tying equipment and
materials in to take streamside and for everyone to get what they want
for Christmas. Plus plenty of people to participate in the Tying
Chats, and to keep finding good topics for the chat. God Bless us one
