I’m tying up a few poppers and sliders today and thought I’d share one of the diving sliders for some of the newer members. I use sequins as lips on the poppers and sliders that I want to dive a bit on the quick retrieve. I shape the body and mount it on the hook, then I make a thin slice in the foam, epoxy in a sequin, and then give the entire head and lip a coat of epoxy. Adding a lip gives them a bit more action and makes them look like an injured baitfish trying one last gasp at escape. Feel free to ask any questions you may have.
