Another swap Idea popped into my head, why not a trout streamer swap. Classic patterns or your creation If it’s for trout lets swap it. Lets limit this one to 12 tyers including myself.

  1. HMD - Mickey Finn TIED (using icelandic sheep wool instead of bucktail)

8. Namekagon - ILLAMA FLY with a coyote wing DONE
9.jleip - Royal Coachman bucktail DONE
10. Salmon Chaser - Magog Smelt on a #4 DONE
11. Flyrodde - hornberg size 10 -RECIEVED
12. lakeerieangler - Clouser
13.RCream - millers river special -DONE

The usuall swap rules apply:

  1. toe tags with the hook size, fly name, and FAOL name, email, and anything else you wish to put on your tags

  2. Box large enough for the flies you will recieve.

  3. One fly for each of the other swappers.

  4. Return Postage/ money to cover your return Shipping from Canada. CD jewel cases and similar thin cases can be shipped for roughly $2.50, thicker boxes over 3/4 inches thick (Altoids tins do not fit the slot they use for pricing so cost about $5.00) are roughly $5.00 to ship to the USA.

  5. Signup date Feb 27th, Flies due to me by April 15th

Sounds great. THe Black ghost is a really good looking fly. I’d like to tie some grey ghosts sometime , but I lack the pheasent feathers I need for it. I’ll pick up a nice Lady Amythest skin sometime and I’ll get to them someday.

I need to be tying saltwater flies for my new foes in the Coastal Bend of Texas, but I can’t get motivated. Maybe this will be a good transition. Sign me up for the Grey Ghost.
