Some years ago I bought the 4 DVD series on Traditional Catskill Flies. A good intro series. Anyway, a recent post got me thinking about Catskill files once again so I did a search for DVDs. Dave Brandt’s Traditional Catskill Dry Flies came up. Anyone here seen the DVD? Would you recommend it?

It is difficult to recommend a video to a person whom you really don’t know. I’ll say that I have the video. I’ve watched it. I learned from it. I enjoyed it. If nothing else, he demonstrates the difference between frugal and cheap. In other words, I think it was worth the money.
