Hook and Hackle are promoting these, and I just bought a fly rod building dryer, threading holder, etc… and looking to build my first rod!!! Does anyone have any experience with the Tradition Kits? What kind of rod are they as far as action? Thanks.

I built the 7’-9" 3wt 4-piece and I love it. For $65 you just can’t beat it. The 4-piece 3wt is the only blank in the Pac Bay tradition II line that is rates as FAST, and the rest of the 4-piece rods are Medium Fast… Go to http://www.fishpacbay.com/products/rod- … index.html scroll down to Tradition II and click on Show Product Detail. There you will find the the 4-piece rods that H& H is marketing under their name.
