Tomorrow's fish

Book Review by Neil M. Travis

Tomorrow’s Fish is a short, 202 page, self-published volume of fly fishing stories with accompanying fly patterns. The stories, 24 in all, are 2 or 3 pages long, followed by a fly pattern that was mentioned in the story. The stories are personal memories of the author and insightful observations on fly fishing in theory and practice.

What makes this little book different than similar books are the inclusion of the fly patterns and how to dress them. These are basic, simple patterns that would be a useful addition to most fly fishers’ collection of patterns. There is a picture of each fly and a list of the materials needed to tie it.

Tomorrow’s Fish is a quick read, a great book to take to bed, or to enjoy during an afternoon along your favorite stream or lake before an evening of angling.
