thread - Danville 6/0 black
rib - x-fine wire gold
tail/abdomen/wingcase/wing - pheasant tail
thorax - peacock herl
bead - 7/64" gold

Part 1

mash barb, slide on bead, start thread; tie in rib, wrap to bend

measure (gap width past bend) some pt fibers; tie in, wrap to 2/3 mark, tie off/trim

counterwrap rib, helicopter end, cover with thread

measure (tips to bend) some more pheasant; tie in with tips over the front, wrap butts back to 2/3 mark

Part 2

tie in some peacock, twist with thread, wrap to bead; tie off/trim

split the butts in half, pull forward on either side of wing

tie off, trim butts, whip, SHHAN
