Tori with her 8" gill from today’s outing
Tori with my 3 wt again…Joe V, she didn’t care for the 2 wt…asked me to get the other rod for her!
After I took Tori home, I got this nice 10 incher on a yellow gurgler I copied from one Jim Hatch gave me.
Another fun trip. All fish released safely. Tori got 2 dandy gills, both 8 inchers, Ken 16 bass to 3 lbs, & Grandpa 16 gills, all but 2 9" or more & 6 bass, all about 1 to 1 1/2 lbs. All mine were caught on that yellow foam gurgler.

Little Tori has Sunday afternoon pegged as the time she goes fishin’ with Grandpa. She just LOVES to go…and Grandpa just LOVES to take her!
She’ll be outfishing before I know it.

Ahhhhh, i feel better after getting that out of my system. I’m surprised that Tori didn’t like the 2wt. It’s more her size. Oh, well, I’ll build her whatever she needs, just as long as you teach her how to outfish you. :lol: :lol:

My GOAL is to see her outfish me! At the rate she’s going, it won’t be long. She will reel in that outfit of hers with the bobber dipping erratically…Sunday, she was reeling like that & a really nice bass (3-4 lbs) came up & eyed that bobber making a commotion. I thought it might hit that trailing Berkley Gulp worm she had on, but it didn’t. One of these days, she’ll nail that big-un.
Jack…I may be a veritable rookie with trout, but I can hold my own with most on the warmwater species!

Thanks for this Post! I never get tired of looking at Tori! Just think if she’s learning how to flyfish at 4, then by the time she get’s to be our age she will be the MOST experienced person on the BB!!! :lol:
