Nicely stated Eric and very timely. Tony Blair has taken a whole lot of abuse on our behalf. To whatever extent I can show my appreciation to the him and the Brits, I will.
Can you just imagine the ACLU jumping on the “rights” of the 21 arrested terrorist islamic subhumans were they arrested here in the US??

On my desk right in front of me is a small desk stand that holds three flags. In that stand are three flags, which have been there since day one of the War on Terror.
They are the flags of the three greatest countries in the world. Of course the flag in the center is Old Glory. The other two are the flags of the greatest allies we have and have ever had, whose friendship I cherish:

A thank you to our neighbors to the north as well. I have been to Canada many times and have always loved the Canadians. On 9/11 the citizens around their airports threw the doors of their homes wide open to the folks stranded by the grounding of all flights. Since then the Canadians have stood by us and taken a lot of crap for it. Canada has been very active in stoping several attacks since 9/11.
The U.S., U.K., Canada, Australia and New Zealand formed an incredible alliance that has stood the test of time for almost 100 years and faced down the darkest of evil in the world. What a great alliance! I am greatful to all of them!
