Time Warp?

Am I stuck in a time warp, or have there been no posts for a few days due to the pressure of too much fishing?? “G” Jax

I’m a much better Fly fisher when talking fishing, than when I’m Actually Fly fishing!

Jax,

For once I am happy to report you nailed it

Just completed one week fishing some fabulous rivers in western Slovenia.

End of the month I am looking forward to a couple of days fishing the rivers in the Leon and Castille region of Spain.

Yes!

Cheers,
Hans W

Jax,

Great to hear from you. I think every one’s out fishing and using up the flies they tied last winter.

I have been on several nice trips myself. The last 2 months have really been great. Some nice fish, lot’s of different species, and some wondeful time spent on the rivers with friends…shaping up to be a banner year. Wish you the best.

Tell Miles hello.

Best regards,

Hans, Sounds like you got the right idea. Travel and fish the globe. Someday my freind…Someday!

You can’t catch fish with your fly in the air!

Hans,
Is that a picture of the Famous Slovenia Rock Trout or a picture of the river after you fished it out?

Jim, m’friend, if you cannot see the four trout hovering in that picture I guess you are a lost cause…

Cheers,

Must be the Emperor’s New Trout.

I see at least five fish and possibly two others…Good leason in spotting fish here. New Zealand guides have the best eyes and would of picked those fish out rather quickly…ain’t that right Jax?

Hans,
Well I must be lost cause I can’t see’m!
So to avoid me staring at this picture all day can you enlighten this sorry eyed flytier?
I was never good at finding the picture that’s hidden in the squiggly lines!
I still think you fished it out, probably with size 32 cdc & elk !

Jim,
small, left edge. I hope that was taken from miles away cause they look like minnows to me. One in the sandy area on the right.

Jim, I had the same problem. Tried the polarized glasses, and still couldn’t see em. G

Guess I get spoiled coming from a place where the fish are bigger than the rocks, and four of em won’t fit in the same photo. Once I scaled down my hopes, tho…

Hans, glad you had fun back east. Hope the rest of the season goes as well.

Dennis

Jim,

Here you go:

The pool I was staring into was about 8’ deep around the main rock. The trout to its bottom-left would be about 14-15", the rest smaller (8-12"). The clarity of the water not too bad

Cheers,
Hans W

No I’m not jealous either JC.

Excellent! Can you give us the play-by-play like they do on Monday Night Football, too?

This is what I was doing last Friday. Note that neither I nor the trout are visible in this picture, much as in Hans’ photo! But I can’t do those cool red circles. We were stocking trout.

You raise your trout in rootbeer? Cool, premarinated trout!

And we shake them well!

Nah, the root beer is for float stocking.
Frank Reid

Hi John. No trouble spotting the trout. Those red circles are a dead giveaway"G" Jax

Hans, sad to say but, ah, I’m glad ya posted that one, why ? Well cause I was up in the hills with friends of mine, we stopped to look at a stream. they where like, nice looking fish, I was like, ok, where? It took me awhile, don’t know why, but I did see them after the, (look at that rock over there, the big one, come down half way on it, etc…lol) Don’t know why I didn’t see them that day but this is a school on, you are spooking more fish than ya know…lol
