But whattaya do with them then? My husband says it takes me an hour to decide which rod to take out for the day. I don’t know that many fishermen, and have built rods for nearly all of them. I’m going to have to get a bigger house to hold them all.
My wife is 100% city girl. I got her to fish once. Her idea of “camping” is a Class A motor home in a RV park next to a cafe.
I had been going to Tahosa for 5 years before I got her up there because she wanted to see the aspens last fall. She looked around a bit, said she saw why I liked the place and we went home.
Nope. Gifting her one or two wouldn’t work. <sigh>
People in ohio like flyrods…:)…I have 17 here for the wife and I and all but 1 I built. I DID stop though…

FWIW … I, too, believe camping should be done in a nice motel! Hands down!! A clean sheet, bug free environment, with a coffee maker, is primo!!
Note, though, I didn’t say she needed to fish them, at least not right away. Just “gift” them to her. It’s a heartfelt , hand crafted gift, she surely could NOT get rid of!! <come on, Kevin! Think like a woman for a minute there!!>:p

Its been awhile since you stayed in a motel evidently ?? Its the reason why I DRIVE our motel room. Of course I do miss out on the local “greasy spoon” menu…!!!
Of course I jest. There is a nice motel in Navajo Dam, NM ( NOT!!) or Jackson Lake Lodge in the Tetons ( At $150 a night!!!)I not only carry my own coffee maker…but my brand of coffee beans freshly ground every morning…
Nah … a Best Western or Super 8 will do me just fine! I have but simple needs!
Last time I stayed in a Best Western was in West Yeowstone at $85 a night…in 1994!!
