I assume you are thinking of the jeweler. My first thought was of my friend Tiffany, who is an attractive lady who I think would think the fly pretty, not sure how she would react to the use of a big mouth nymph hook for her namesake.

Crystalline is a round solid material, with a measure of stretch. Substitutes would indeed be D-rib, or Lava-Lace.
