I don’t know about the rest of you, but I tie many more flies than I can ever use. The annual Tie-a-thon for charity can use your extra flies. I am a participant in Reel Recovery and have used flies donated thru the Tie-a-thon. I have no other personal connection other than I have donated flies for many years. They prefer a short list of flies, you can think of it as a list of fly types. Here is the link for more information.

I send flies every year to Reel Recovery and Casting for Recovery.

We held a local tying event here last May for Reel Recovery - all flies tied that evening were donated to a day of fishing that happened last week.
One more reason for this Tie-a-thon, donate 100 flies and get a hat. They used to give out t-shirts and switched to hats this year.
