Thumbs Up on Not Fishing

Ladyfisher,

Thanks for rerunning your comments on “Not Fishing.” There is a lesson there that applies to all true sports. Hitting fish when they are trapped by temperature is detrimental to the sport and the sportsperson alike. I liken it to pummeling a defeated boxing opponent or “rolling up” the score in a game. Practices like this just develop a ruthless killer habit which is a vice in all but the most materialistic philosopher’s book. It is as simple as the drinker knowing when to stop. Are we there yet?

yep, that was a good article.
I read it before and read it again, i never fish when the water is the warm and low.

Very good article and very timely. You wouldn’t hunt deer, elk, or moose in a cage ( Not too sporting old fudge! ) and you shouldn’t hunt fish In the heat.

Thanks for that LF
