Stick the thread in the hole about 1/3 way and then suck on the other end. Comes thru very easily(make sure you have enough slack for it to pull thru, dummy!)
Make sure you don’t lick the end of the thread to get it smooth or the thread will stick to the sides and not suck through.
Another alternative is to use a dental threader for someone who has a dental bridge. its a piece or hard mono with a loop on the end. Works great for that and whipping end when building a rod.

thats exactly how i do it
thin wire in old wine cork cemted in or crochet hook a dull needle big fat eye
stik sharp end in cork, there are lots of ways a dental pick.
make shure u cement or glue it in cork and sharp end in cork, dont want needle coming out or " poke and ouch each time u theread" lots of corks from wine bottles come in handy
