Anyone seen these yet?

Light and Robust…at over 6 ounces for the smallest one??? Neat looking reels I will admit…but, I would not consider them light…IMHO
They look very hansome and well constructed.
how much did you give for yours robgcd ?
My Teton Tioga’s serve me fine n will keep doing so for years to come n all for very little moolah! Bet the price of those would equal my rent this month! N not be nearly as durable as a Teton… Look pretty delicate.
Sorry, I did not mean to imply I bought one…For me to spend that much money on a reel someone would have to beat me for half a day with a stupid stick!!
I couldn’t find a view of the handle side of the reel. They are cool looking reels, but my Battenkill Disc works just fine. Come to think of it, so does my old gold Pflueger Supreme.
Ari Hart reels are considered to be some of the finest reels ever made. They are collectors items and wind up in museums…
I first came across this Lake Taupo F2 at “Lords of the Fly”, a shop in West Los Angeles, CA back in the early 80’s. I am still kicking myself for not having purchased it…simply put, they ARE form and function…
To own one is to have a portion of FF history…

I like the Ltd Edition Trilogy. Note I said like, but want - no way. My wife would kill me and then sell my equipment for pennies on the dollar or give it away to Goodwill.
Well, I have seen them now. Such a different look than most fly reels…I think they are ugly as heck-e-dern.
Way too much money. If I want to see one I’ll go to a museum.
I’ve owned a couple of Hart reels, the Rio Orbigo F2 and the Gallatin.
They were both fine reels that I picked up used for around $200.00.
I’ve since sold them both as I did not like the design of the line guard.
This one seems to have cured that problem. I would agree with Rob in that the weight would seem to be a detriment
in some situations of good balance.
The look of this reel is typical Hart and a reel beauty!
Many reels out there that cost this much or more.
If you like it and can afford it, go for it.
Hart has always been probably more renowned for his designs than his reels fishability.
Although they do fish just fine.

I guess it’s a matter of personal opinion but i think they are as ugly as could be.
I don’t trust anyone with an apostrophe in their name… Homeboy could use a nosehair trimmer too.
Some people like Picasso and Dali and some of us like Remington, Russell or Adam.
Well thanks for that Mr. jszymczyk.
For anyone interested, here are some photos of earlier Hart reels…
