I’m new to fly fishing and especially new to fly tying, although I’ve been fishing for over 50 years.
The best thing I ever did was find flyanglersonline I’ve learned more here than I ever did reading books or magazines. Everyone that goes to this bulletin board is very willing to help and makes fly fishing, for me, specially enjoyable.

I’m sure glad you two found this site. Your both correct about it too. There is a ton of information within these pages.
Just don’t forget to use the whole site. The info in the archieves is tremendous, and the chatroom is an invaluable tool. As much as I like the Bulletin Boards, the chat room gives real time conversations with like minded folks about our favorite subject. Kind of reminds me of sitting around the campfire after a hard days fishing chatting it up with your closest buddies.

I agree with you all. I NEVER, & I repeat, NEVER go into a flyshop or meet another flyfisher or someone just interested in flyfishing that I don’t give them this website.

I haven’t been flyfishing long but I’m totally addicted and this website is the best resource I have ever found. It’s the best tool anybody wanting to learn how to flyfish could possibly use. better than a book or movie and the people here are great!
I’ve just discovered fly fishing over the past weekend. This was the first website I’ve found and to this point has been a veritable mountain of information in regards to getting myself started. I can’t wait to get going!
