The Travis's Have Landed - Sort of

Just a note to let everyone know that we arrived safe and sound in Arizona on Nov. 1st. That was just the beginning of the fun. New house to set up - old house but new to us - and the endless trips to the stores for all kinds of things [read expensive]. The big item was getting the cable set up so that we can get back on-line. Well, it should be easy but it has proven to be difficult. So far I can only get one computer to recognize the new Internet connection. That leaves my desk top model and our two lap tops without an Internet connection. Hopefully this week will be better.
Otherwise things are good. Thanks for all the prayers.

Good to here from you guys… Always nice to here from a Lady…
God Bless and keep us posted…

Glad to hear you made the long trip south okay. My friends up in the Phoenix area tell me everything down there has stickers, thorns, stingers or teeth. So watch where you step or put your fingers.

Are you anywhere near Flagstaff or Lees Fefrry? Good fishing to be had.

Silver, we’re closer to the Sea of Cortez than Flag or Lee’s Ferry, and Trav doesn’t do Mexico. Legally he is still a judge S but thank you for the good thoughts!

The AZ DNR has a good website for fishing.

In a month or so you can get your ice auger and go see Gemrod, I’m just talking there. I don’t know when or if the ice gets thick enough or why you would fish through a 6" hole. Even though I have done it. I know they put trout in the Salt River around Phoenix in the winter and there are warm water species in a number of lakes, a friend told me about some in Yuma.
