... the next thread

After reading “What a difference a year makes” this is the next thread. <they do go together>

John’s pride and joy. This was accomplished with the materials, books, and help you all sent.

Thank you, all of you, from the bottom of my heart.

some sort of sickness , , ,

Betty,
I’m so happy for you! Your home is beautiful!

Congrats and the very nice tying area, Your Highness!
Just too bad, it’s never used, after all the hard work and time given to its assembly!?
I can see the FLOOR.
The desk top is VISIBLE.
There is no maribou, floating lazily, 2 feet above the area.
Everything is PUT AWAY, where it evidently belongs.
There are signs of true organization.
An ENTIRE WHITE WALL is quite visible, that SHOULD BE used for posting magazine articles, patterns copied and saved pictures of fish caught, etc.
One can OBVIOUSLY approach the entire area, without fear of embedding a #20 hook into their shoe sole or bare foot.
There is still visible areas where future… muchly needed supplies and debris, can be added
I cannot see any plates, glasses, mugs, and/or, half emptied beverage bottles, stacked, spilled or half hidden under an open tying manual’s pages.
Along with the absent plates, glasses, etc., I can see no partially eaten food stuffs, roughly 9 days old and now currently growing its own “greenish dubbing”.
Yes, it’s a very nice area and very well set up!! But, it sure would be a lot nicer, if someone was actually using it after all the hard work!?!

You guys do realize this is not Betty’s tying area…you know her friend may not be able to take the verbal abuse…I mean constructive criticism she has been subjected too.

Seriously, Betty it’s nice to see how fast and well they recovered:D

Oh my! You all need to read “What a difference a year makes” for the first part of this thread!!! This is John’s home … what was rebuilt after the fire … that you all helped put together for him. All of his flytying materials and equipment (rods, reels, spools, etc) were lost. Those pictures are in the first post.

Goodness knows, my tying area isn’t near so clean … I only vacuum when I can’t figure out the color of my carpet. :stuck_out_tongue:

HRH Betty: I MOST duely apologize for my indiscretions!
Your first post, relating to this one, was slid down a few, separating them!!
It’s not only, great, that your friend is getting back on track but also, that YOU are “staying true to form”, via your “I only vacuum when…” posting!

Betty,
I’m very happy for John! His house is beautiful!
Doug

Betty,

I cannot begin to fathom what John and his family must have felt and gone through with that devasting fire, but with a friend like you I am certain they got through it that much easier.

We need more friends like you on this earth.

God bless.

Marty

Can’t wait to go to the open house sunday see you there
