So tomorrow is the Superbowl… What would you like for your last meal PatsMan? How about some Brady chops with a side order of New England chowder?
I do not like green eggs and ham, nor do I like Philly or McNabb.
It is sad since my team is not in it, but really hope that New England does not win it!
PatsMan can you hear me?
I’m still cheering for Miami!
You are right; and your team is a long way from being in it. They have to become a team first. First they have to do is to stop trying to buy a team like the Yankees do. They are amateurs at it. i.e. Ricky Williams. For my meal tomorrow I am going to start with Lobster Brisk and a dozen Cherry Stones. I am then going to have Prime Rib and Lobster Claws (The rest is in the Brisk). I have a few Stuffed Delaware Bay Crabs and a pound of Maine Steamers and some Alaska King Crab legs. My side dishes are fresh Asparagus and fresh summer squash and small Red Potatoes roasted and served in a heavy wine sause. I will wash this down with a local Winery?s Cranberry wine. It is light and smooth. I will then sit down with my 12 pack of Bass Ale and a Liter of Lord Calvert Canadian. I will then check the score Monday and see who won. Have fun, Jan
P.S. I forgot , for Breakfast I am having a Buttered Shrimp (31-40) Omelet with Clam Chowder (New England not that scummy new york stuff)

Grubb, What a job that would be. I am too old so I will stay home and watch um.
Pats, that does sound delicious. Down here it will be tamales, green chili stew, guacamole, and spicy fried catfish. Assorted veggies and snacks. Beverages are BYO, since one of my brothers only drinks Miller Lite, and I can’t bring myself to buy that stuff.
FYI, I’m pulling for your team.

That sure sounds nice. Maybe for the Pro Bowl for me. The Catfish sounds mmmmmmmm. The Miller Lite, Yuck. As a matter of fact any lite beer is YUCK.

I have a few Stuffed Delaware Bay Crabs
Save em till the end of the game. They will be a fitting tribute to an EAGLES Victory.
I’m thinking Chinese tomorrow, pick it up in ten minutes, no mess, no fuss, and no miss game.
Go E A G L E S !!!

I’m makin’ shredded beef sandwiches…a few of those, a few beers & (hopefully) a great game with great commercials.
Go Browns!!..I should be careful…said that a while back & they moved to Baltimore!!
Personally, I think Philly’s “cheesy” & New England’s “clammy”!!!
Mike

Steam? We put them on the BBQ here (curved side down) and serve with melted lemon butter with a shot of liquid smoke in the melted butter.

I doubt I’ll even watch it. I for one am sick of pro “sports” and the money these “athletes” are making. If I even turn the TV on it’ll be at halftime just to see the new commercials and Paul McCartney. Give me the old days of Lombardi, Landry, Shula… coaches like these. Anyone did half the “celebrating” these knuckleheads do these days would be looking for a new job the next day.

As Ned Flanders would say “Well dang diddly dong” PatsMan. I love crab legs! Bass Ale is my favorite beer. With Rolling Rock and any good crystal wiessen being second.
When I’m up New England way this spring I’ll do the fresh lobster thing.
I’m already taking bets for Miami next season. First 5 straight. Playoff spot for sure. And since I got strong feeling that those New Englanders are going to sell out for the all mighty dollar and disband to the highest bidder, I’ll say Miami wins all games against them. My futures looking bright. Hell, they can only go up from here.
I will say this, I would love to see them lose today but, that Brady does rather well at NOT choking. That will get him to the Hall of Fame someday.
I wish you the best of luck today. Myself I’ll do like always, if Miami isn’t playing I will check in from the dog show now and again to see the commercials.
Buy the way I did see that Dan Marino got the call from the Hall of Fame the other day.
First off, residing in the backyard of the Arizona Cardinals doesn’t give a guy much desire to watch NFL football. On the other side, the Super Bowl is more a “happening” that shouldn’t be missed. We’re heading over to a friend’s house with his HD TV. He happens to be a single malt expert (produces documentarys covering the various distillaries in Scotland) so I s’pose I’ll just “have” to try a few sips of about 9 different examples he brought back from his last shooting trip over there. His wife is gormet level in the kitchen so we’ll probably eat too much too.
Snow on the roof with fire in the hearth
those of us in new england will be having cooked eagle. i expect it will be done early, by half time at the latest.

All sounds like great food but I guess I will just have to settle for pizza (fresh from the oven}, chips and dips, little smokes, hot wings, pie and ice cream, maybe have a root beer float.
Can’t indulge in any GOOD beverages because they don’t allow liquor on the premisiss.
Your right, I’m at work 7am to 7pm but the lunch room is just off the controlroom and the puters in here will been on to the game.
Such is the life of a working (easy on the four letter word} stiff.

fishigan, There will not be a wholesale sell out of NE players. They did not waste their money on the likes of Ricky Williams, (Who by the way is not is the SB)The Pats Players are mostly signed for next year. Marino, Ah yes he got the call. But he never got the call to pick up a SB ring. All that make him is a Hall of Fame LOSER.
D. Micus, HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
