No way. My mom told me many MANY years ago that Naugahyde came from freshly picked Naugas. So now you’re trying to tell me… ANIMALS??

Diane, they actually come for freshly picked, but properly aged Naugas. That’s how they get the different colors. As far as the “hyde” part goes, you have to understand botanists. After all, long-staple cotton is MUCH more comfortable than short-staple cotten, and THAT’S counter-intuitive…
