Ed, I would love to get in on this swap. I recognize most of the names here, All great tiers. I bet Andy B ties a mean montana stone!
I will tie the universal nymph. It has triggers from all the great nymph patterns prince nymph, hare’s ear, pheasant tail, cooper john and a beadhead. If you are searching this what you need to tie on.
I like that Universal Nymph. I almost tied it as well for this swap as it is one of my 3-4 “go-to” flies. I always get good results with it.
Would like to join in.
How does a “Cased Caddis” sound?
It’s one of my favorites to tie and fish.
MW
I will tie a zebra midge nymph. It is a great producer for me.
I’ll tie Al’s EZ-Nymph. He’s right about it. It’s killer on small streams.
Just one more spot to go. This thing is really moving. I suppose I’d better get out and pick up some supplies.
The next person to post gets the last spot!!

If the last spot is still available, I would like to tye a Super Brassie.
Steve
That’s it! We’re full-up!
All twenty spots are now full and The Great Nymph Swap is officially closed. There’s a list up the thread a bit with all participants and their chosen fly.
Let’s all tie up a full set of twenty flies each and mail them to me by the deadline. That’ll make it easier on me as I sort them out. Please include a SASE and a crushproof container for your flies. My mailing address is below:

DONE!
Thank God for snow storms!
We got did not get a lot, but we sure did
get enough. Although it was not so much
that us “New Englanders” could not handle
it.
Looking forward to seeing what I will get
from this swap.

Unfortunately, Leonard has had to bow out of the swap for personal reasons. We therefore have an open slot.
There is still a lot of lead time left in the swap, but I don’t really want to reopen the swap on the full Bulletin Board.
Therefore, if any of the current participants know someone who would be interested in participating, please forward their name to me and we’ll fill that last spot.
If not, we’ll just proceed with 19 tiers.

I received a pleasant surprise in the mail today. A package from down in Georgia arrived with Mike Popick’s nymphs. Some nicely tied “Micro Mayflies” - a subtle variation of the Copper John.
Two tiers down, eighteen to go. I’m about half done myself. I’m looking forward to getting the rest.
Keep tying.

I’ve got 3 more to tie. Ran out of hooks so I’ll finish them tomorrow and they should be there by the end of the week
Received some cased caddis flies from MPW yesterday. Nicely done.
Slammin’- I’ll be on the lookout for your flies, too.

WOW!
Today was like Christmas around here. I came home to two packages of superb flies from featherfastener and mikeytwoshoes.
So far I’ve been very impressed with the quality of flies tied for this swap. As always, gentlemen, thank you for the extras.
Once I’ve received all of the flies I hope to borrow a digital camera and get them posted on the BB. I’ll let you all know how it goes.

Would like to make a moition to
let Ed keep the “extra” fly. I sent
in 20, even though we only have 19
people in the swap.
All in favor, say I.
