UPS just came to the door with my order of Daiichi 1640"s. I will probably cut all the spiders off of the hooks I had been using and start over.

What patterns are you planning on tying?
Bamboozle, I’m going to tie patterns straight from “A Handbook of North Country Trout Flies”.
Patterns will be using Woodcock, Snipe, Partridge, Waterhen, Jackdaw and Starling. I need to get a Golden Plover Skin and a Magpie to do this right.
I figured I would just go through pattern by pattern. I sure wish I had more than just today off.
not to hijack but anyone know a supplier of 100 packs of 1640’s the 25’s arn’t big enough. ( I would say they cost to much but then i would be called cheap :rolleyes:)

Never dealt with them so I can’t vouch for their customer service. I believe there are lots of vendors who will sell in lots of 100 if you request it.

I got mine where Scott just suggested. I placed the order Friday and received them today. I couldn’t find all that many suppliers that had them and especially in the 100 pks.
