I had the pleasure of meeting Don Ordes at the International FT Symposium recently and given the tour of the famous Bates, make that “Baits” Motel ! I hope you all at one time or another get to meet Don and his cast of characters…talk about having a good belly laugh… still makes me smile when I think about it. Al, Don is the kind of guy I’d love to live next door to. I think. He is one funny and talented man!
Is Don Ordes the guy that makes the mouse flies and the blue marlin and tuna flies, and other novelty files that I can’t remember now?
If so, then I went by his vise on Saturday at the Symposium and peered over the shoulders of a crowd as he was showing off all his items.
