  • Thread: lime, rust, black or your choice
  • Tail: non
  • Body: thread colour your choice
  • Wing: black bear fur roots…a wisp
  • Hackle: none
  • Instructions

Step 1: Tie a thread base to halfway point along hook
Step 2: Attach a wisp of bear fur roots for a wing, lacquer head…

Notes

Target species: trout
Water type: pools, runs, riffles
Season: all year in season..

My best bear hair fly is a small swapf tied with bear hair and underfur from the bear hair. I usually fish it as dropper off of something I can see.
