Thanks to Our Troops (not FF)

I was wondering if I might impose on all of the FAOL family and ask them to visit the following website…http://www.letssaythanks.com/Home1280.html.
There you will be able to say Thank You to our Troops overseas this Holiday. It’s free and only takes a minute.
Thank you all and Merry Christmas to you and yours…
Bernie

XEROX IS DOING SOMETHING COOL

If you go to this web site, www.LetsSayThanks.com. Click on the link, “View All Designs”, and you can pick out a thank you card and Xerox will print it and it will be sent to a soldier that is currently serving in Iraq . You can’t pick out who gets it, but it will go to a member of the armed services. How AMAZING it would be if we could get everyone we know to send one!!! It is FREE and it only takes a second.

Wouldn’t it be wonderful if the soldiers received a bunch of these? Whether you are for or against the war, our soldiers over there need to know we are behind them. This takes just 10 seconds and it’s a wonderful way to say thank you. Please take the time and please take the time to pass it on for others to do. We can never say thank you enough.

Thanks for taking to time to support our military!

Thanks for posting the link, farleycat. What an easy way to say thanks to those that deserve more than we can repay.

Cards sent - and link forwarded to friends.

THANK YOU !!!

Thank you to all who do this. Take it from someone who has been there that receiving mail of this sort is a HUGE BOOST to a trooper’s spirits! I am humbled by those that serve because they give us so much but ask for so very little in return. Please take a moment to do this for them. It will make you a richer, happier and better person.

THANKS NIGHTHAWK !!!

I thought this group might enjoy this overseas patch design. My last MSARNG unit, they told me the world was safe and they didn’t need me anymore in '91. They brought everyone but one EM back from the desert on Christmas eve 2006, they lost one ACFT and the pilot lost both of her lower legs. Pilots from my old company were involved in getting Sadam’s evil spawn.

Pray for those who are still over there and their families; give thanks and pray for those who came back.

Uncle Jesse,
A Troop 1/6 Cav, B Troop 7/17 Cav, 6th Air Cavalry Brigade, Rapid Deployment Force, 11th A.C.R./1st Cav and Spec Ops Support. A Btry 1/229th Field Artillery, 29th I.D. of the PAARNG. From a former Air Cav Trooper and Cannon Cocker, Thank You for your service. God Bless our comrades in arms living and dead! Air Cav, HOOAH!

And thank you for your service.

I was just a weekend warrior who intended to put in 6 and get out. Funny how time slips away. Twenty three years later I was selected for non-retention. Spent most of my time attached to the 1/108 ACR roundout for the 1/3rd and 2/3rd ACR. Made a lot of good friends many who I still keep up with. The recent engagement has made me very proud of my NG roots. There a thread about what’s on your window or bumper, there a retired Army and USA flag on my pickup.

My old boss took a round through his calf in SE Asia flying a slick; one of my college roommates retired from the Army / MSARNG as a IP before he had a fuel governor malfunction flying for TVA with 11,500+ hrs.; his best friend was shot down three times flying dust before he took around through the leg in Vietnam. My last 1st SGT had to call artillery on to his own position when he was a grunt. I have friends who were heroes, I am thankful to have served with many good men and glad they made it back from their service.

Hoooah!
