There is no such thing (imho) as a “Newbie” when it comes to Fly Fishing.
Those who’ve done it for longer have simply had more time to make mistakes (and learn from them).
I’ve done this for a while and just when you start feeling a bit cocky, you’ll meet or correspond with another ff’er and just realize how far one can go with this.
Sure there are some real “Masters” out there, but they got there 'cause they know that each and every day they go out, they’ll probably learn something new.
