thanks, Jim

Jim,

I used your flies on a pond that you don’t usally catch much but with your flies me and my friend split 20 fish with your flies. It was on a pond behind are local dairy queen, we used hot dogs and your flies for bait and a bag in a crate for a bucket. If you look in the warm water section you can hear all about it.

                               thanks,
                             FisherKid93

PS: WE PUT THEM IN ARE POND IN THE BACK YARD.

Hey Fisherkid,

Glad you got some use out of the flies
buddy. But I gotta ask ya, which worked
best, the flies or the hotdogs?G

As a boy growing up in North Carolina,
I learned at an early age that bluegill
liked hot dogs almost as good as they did
worms. Hmmm. Anybody got a pattern for a
hotdog fly? Warm regards, Jim

um…about the same and with the fly pattern you could just tie a fly and put a little bit of hotdog on it.

                                thanks,
                                   cody

Heh heh,

Well, there ya go folks. If anybody has
any of my flies from a swap or whatever, a
bit of hotdog on the hook will instantly
turn it into a bluegill magnet. I’ll wager
if you substitute caviar for the hotdog, you
could catch trout too.G Warm regards, Jim

LOL Jim…That is so cool! Pure innocence.

I see in you’re dad’s profile you guy’s like camping. Come on up to the Michigan Fish-In!
I’m going to go to work on “The Hot Dog Fly”. If Jim can do a pig I should be able to do a Hot Dog!!

I feel more like I do now than I did when I got here!

Cactus

Question?

Were the hot dogs cooked? If so, how?

Jim,

Do I see a new Dremel Bug in the offing? It could be a real hotdog of a fly…

Jim Smith

better-

they weren't cooked just raw. and right when we put them in the pond they would jump for them. and with the hotdog fly, haven't you guys and girls ever thought of that. Maby I am catchin up to you guys lol.

                             thanks,

All you ‘humorists’ do what you will. You’ll never beat this.

Congrats Fisherkid - You stay right on 'em.

Jim - could I order a few flies with a slightly bigger hook gap? I can’t get my hotdog to stay on.

hahahah…

you could make it like a popper that would get um. At least I think.

                              thanks,
