thanks for the advice about my post of last week.i’m placing my order at cabelas this week.i believe i’ll get that 9ft and spend some time in the yard casting before trying to go out for real.what do y’all think of these L2L quick change leaders?one of my problems is tying knots because of my disability. can these leaders be pre-tied and then straighten when needed.ithink i saw them that way on cabelas website
Hello bamafan and welcome to the best site of it’s kind. I’ll be going with looped lines and leaders when the time comes that I can’t tye knots anymore. Hope that helps.
Cheers,

The new L2L’s are pretty slick, the only problem is that you are restricting yourself to a certain brand and type of leader. If you find yourself somewhere that doesn’t sell them then you’re out of luck. Loop connections are pretty much universal. Loops are easy to tie in your leader if you have to, but just about everybody carries prelooped leaders anymore so finding them is no problem.
