Several months ago Bassman (John) posted a message that he had some flies available for donation. Well I responded about an event we were planning at my Lake on 21 June and John was kind enough to send about 2000 flies my way. Needless to say I was floored by his generosity!
We held the event a couple of Saturdays ago and John made a bunch of kids really happy. Here’s just a few photo’s of the happy faces brought to you by one of the “Good Guys” here on FAOL.
We had over 335 kids participate in the fishing derby portion of the program. Many of them received flies that John donated. So I just wanted to be sure John got a bit of recognition for his generous spirit and willingness to help me out with this event. John you really are one of the good ones! I can’t thank you enough for what you did. We had a great event and you played a major roll, well done!
