Thought this was a nice view of Tetons from the middle of the Snake River near Jackson, WY
Beautiful Photos Byron! Thanks for sharing. Would love to catch a fish like that just once.
Not my fish though. Mine were smaller, but we’re released.
Bryon, These pics had to be taken within a couple hundred yards from each other. BTW That fish was also released, as were all the fish I caught that week.
When were you there? I fished there on Tuesday.
Same ( Snake) river about 1000 yds South, downstream, of the Y’Stone South Gate last September. To be repeated shortly.

And Grand Teton peeking just over Signal Mountain (wayyy left). A view from the “Oxbow Bend” about a mile downstream from the Jackson Lake Dam. Kinda explaines why I LOVE to fish there. On a (rare) fishless day, I just look up and my creel magically fills.

I was there late Sept 2014. We actually stayed in Victor, ID. Nice little town.

beautiful pics thanks for sharing
As I was crossing the pedestrian bridge at Wilson over the Snake following a good afternoon/evening of fishing.
Hey Byron,
I’ve logged about 500 miles along that left bank through the years. Of course the river was, even last year, much wider . I did prefer the downstream of the bridge due to the convergence of many small rivulets. AND while you’re there, you gotta do Nora’s Fish Creek Inn for breakfast in Wilson. President Clinton ate there but we go there anyway. Also do “The Bird” just South of town for a great buger, brat, tenderloin sammich. It’s where the locals tune up.

Marco,
Way ahead of you. Had breakfast there on Tuesday…
A “fond” memory of the Snake ( below) at Jackso Lake Dam. Fished the Lamar and the Lewis in Y’Stone and on the way back, just had to try “a few more casts”. $300 bucks later I drove it home. Wet wader foot slipped off brake and onto gas pedal add…voila. In any case, that’s my story and I’m stickin to it. Glad to be here !

PS: Not shown but GREAT views of the Teton Range from just b
$300??? Looks more expensive than that!
Have had car problems myself. In a rental. Had a flat on highway 87 about 40 miles from West Yellowstone at 10:30 PM last week. Could not find the car manual to change to the donut spare. Phone going dead. Paid 120 for someone to change tire. Then, had to buy a replacement tire…
I hate rental cars!!!
