Tarnished Brass Beads

Is there a certain quality brass beads must have to prevent tarnishing? Some of mine have turned cruddy looking wile others have remained as shiny as the day I bought them. Are there quality beads that can be recommended? I buy them by the 100s.
Thank

Oddly enough, I usually tarnish my copper beads if I think they are too bright, because in some instances I’ve noticed a tarnished copper work much better than the alternatives, either bright gold or copper.

No reason why you could not polish the beads if you like, but every source I have used so far tarnish eventually.

Treat the beads with vinegar and salt in a small dish. Store in an airtight bag. Will tarnish again if left exposed to air.

Obviously you are keeping your bead too long. Those are supposed to be put on hooks and left on rocks and stumps in the bottom of streams and lakes, you should also leave an occasional one in a fish lip.

Ha, Jesse, you’re right.
