Taking Supplies on the road (International)

I Will be traveling for business to Asia in a week or so. I am there for a few weeks and thought of taking some of my tying equipment with me to pass the time at night.

Does any one know if Customs will give me a problem over the furs and feathers I would bring along?

I do not want to loose what vever I bring.

Thanks for the help

I don’t know the answer to your specific question, but this might be a good time to tie up thread midges, foam hoppers and beetles, etc. Stuff that doesn’t involve fur or feathers.

I am guessing you may not have problems getting into Asia with your supplies. However getting them back out will be almost impossible due to Bird Flu restrictions…

Whqt exactly are the bird flu restrictions?

Synthetics…foam beetles and ants…

Take your vise, tools, thread, and only syntetic tying material. If you need some feathers, buy them when you get there. Make sure your materials are in their original packing, and list the ingredients.
