What’s the deal with T&T? I’m down in New Zealand, broke the tip section of my T&T rod, and have been trying to contact them about a replacement.
To date: 3 phone calls, and 2 emails, but absolutely no reply.
Is there any way that I can get through to a real person at T&T for help?
I faxed them today, and perhaps that will help.
If you tried to contact them at their Greenfield, MA. location, be aware that they are smack in the middle of a record snowfall winter. Many shops and businesses in that area are shut down due to emergency snow fall situations. Many of the customers of the business where I work in Washington State are from the east coast and our business is suffering as a result of their winter. Ironically, we’re having one of the mildest winters I’ve ever seen.
They’re use to snow in Greenfield and most of the ‘record’ snow and nasty weather is to the west and north from there.
I know someone from another site has been trying to get through to them as well and they seem to be ‘closed’
Whether they’re out of business, restructuring, or just on vacation is unclear.
I posted this over on the main discussion board, but according to Zach Matthews @ The Itinerant Angler they laid off all their employees on 2/23. I posted a forum topic about this over at Itinerant Angler asking Zach what this means, so might want to stop in there to see what he has to say. At least based on the tweat this doesn’t look good.
