This is the last swap of the 2008 monthly swap. In keep with the holiday tradition, this month’s theme is Christmas. You may interpret that any way you want or substitute your own personal holiday if you must.

i will do what my wife refers to as the christmas one. #20 midge. i love this fly as a short dropper.

I am also getting the monthly swap for 2009 ready to go. First preference will be to anyone currently in this swap who wants to continue. There will be a couple of new twists, like having each of the 12 people picking the theme for one month, and if you want to act as host for your month, you can (but you don’t have to). If you are interested and are a participant in this swap, post here on this thread by the end of this week so I can get things ready for the first of 2009. Thanks!

P.S. If you have a specific month that you would like to pick the theme for, let me know. I’ll accommodate everyone as well as I can, and will randomly assign everyone else. First come, first serve on month preferences.

My December tie will be a “Candy Cane” nymph. I have had a lot of enjoyment with this swap, and would love to continue to participate.

my bugs went out today. i realized that i never posted about the flies i just got last week. awesome work by everyone. this swap has been allot of fun and i cant wait for next years. cheers to Ol’blue!
