Swap of the month April

I’m a bit early but I can’t wait to announce the April swap. I really was impressed by the january swap (Adams), so I choose another classical pattern of the Catskill range. Let’s ty Dark Cahills. The swap will be meistered by Rick Ziegler! Thanks for that in advance Rick!

SJO and Rick Flies in the mail Tyesday ! PADDY

It seems like I am pretty happy with my flies UNTIL I put the toe tags on. Then they look like a wadded up mess. I hate toe tags. Just venting, I know it’s the best way to identify them.

I did a Wallywing Dark Cahill. After trying for three years, I’m finally getting the courage to tie wings on my dry flies.

I use Microsoft Word type up the recipe copy and paste it 6 times print two pages cut them off the sheet fold the tag end over stab the point of the hook through the tag end.

Good idea Steven, I’ll try to do it likewise.
I will be tying a Dark Cahill Nymph…

That’s what I do too Steven. I just dislike the presentation. I was just being cranky anyhow.
