Basically it’s a box of tying materials. You take what you want out and put back in an equivalent amount of stuff. It’s a good way to get some materials that you might have never used and pass on some stuff you might have lots of.

Thanks for all the interest in the swap box. I was planing on shipping it out this past Monday but have had a hold up on that. A good friend and local fly shop owner passed away. He was an awsome guy and loved to share his knowage with anyone willing to learn. He tough me a lot about tying. Some of the stuff in the box is from him. Moof you will be missed. So the new plan is Saturday morning (10-23) i will drop the box to the first on the list. Will post both list soon. Thanks all.

I don’t think it ever left the ground in the first place. :shrug:

If nothing comes of this, I’ve been thinking of starting a swap box up after the holidays. I have nothing like the quantities of the original swap box above, but there are definitely some materials I don’t use as often or just plain don’t like, or have a ton of, that I wouldn’t mind passing on to someone who would enjoy them. But after the holidays, I think the box would be more likely to be lost or forgotten about if sent out now, lol.

OK, so whatever happen to round 2 of the swap box :confused: this was the last life I heard on the swap box dated back on 10-19-2010

if we dont hear anything from Tannaya shortly I will start one if there is any interest??
