To all of you that expressed concern and support, even mantis and ohiotuber. It was a cake walk! Entered the hospital at 9:30 am. and walked out at 10:30 am. The doctor suggested Advil if I have any pain, little does he know what I use for a pain killer. It’s been 2 hours since he shot me up and I sure wish the pain would start!!
I feel more like I do now than I did when I got here!
Jack,
Good to hear all’s well…except you’ll be “ridin’ the wagon” for a week…har-de-har-har!!
Hey folks…laet’s see how GROUCHY ol’ Jack gets by Friday!!
Mike
Glad to hear your o.k. As for getting the pain to start have you considered a nice horseback ride? Heck just take a little preventative medicine and let it go at that… wait; I said a little not the whole bottle!
Glad to hear it all went smoothly Jack,Now get on the mend ,So you can get back out on the water…or build another rod…
“I’ve often wondered why it is that so many anglers spend so much money on,and pay so much attention to.the details on the wrong end of the fly line.If they took as much care in selecting or tying their flies as they did in the selection of the reel and rod,They might be able to gain the real extra edge that makes it possible to fool a fish that has,in fact, seen it all before” A.K.Best
Everyone wants to excel in this sport but at the same time we let traditionalists place restrictions on our tactics, methods, and ideas. Fly fishers often refer to Fox Statler as “out of the box.” The truth is that I never got in the proverbial “box.” I always assumed that fly fishing was a sport that allowed imagination, creation, adaptation, investigation, dedication, education, revelation? : Fox Statler, On Spinners (Not the dainty Dry Fly kind) “Spinner’d Minner Fly”
Way to go Jack ! I’m sure the little fishies have October 16th marked on their calenders stay quiet and deep cause its the day Jack gets back on the water .
