I would like to get back into fly swaps. I used to join in many of them years ago. Here’s my problem. By the time I have a chance to visit the board and then search through all the posts looking for a swap that still has empty places, they are generally filled up.
How would it be if the powers that be were to “freeze” new swaps at the top of the board at least until they are full. That way it would be so easy to find a swap still looking for swappers.
To some extent perhaps, but usually the active swaps are in the top 10 or so listings. BTW, I just closed a swap with 1 open spot (not quite entomology). If you are interested in signing up, e-mail me or post on the thread today and I’ll get you on as a last minute addition.
Thanks for the invitation. I saw the “Swap Closed” earlier today and didn’t go any further.
Absolutely, count me in.
I will probably tie a woven stonefly nymph but will reserve judgement on that until I get home this evening. OK? I haven’t tied them in a long time and want to see if I still know how.
I am looking forward to this.
Thanks again.
I still think freezing open swaps at the top of the board until full is a good idea.
I added you onto the swap and gave you the stonefly category. If you change your mind, post your new category on the NQE swap thread and we’ll update it.
