I was wondering if anyone has any experience striper fishing in Assateague Island, MD?
I’ve been flyfishing a few months for bass and panfish, but I’ve always wanted to pull some big boys out of the surf!
Anyone familiar with this area? If so, what equipment did you have (or not have) success with?

In general for stripers consider a 9wt rod (plus or minus 1 wt), intermediate line, some leader and some clousers or decievers. This is all you need to start.
As for your location, I’m clueless.
