whats your recommendation for a streamer hook. I have some Mustad 9575 ,which I like except for the eyes. They are formed by bending a loop in the shank so that its doubled up one one side of the hook next to the eye, and this makes it hard for me to tie streamers with the wings on the sides of the hoook. I know there are lots of other hooks that are this size (i think 6x), but most descriptions dont tell about the eye.
Rcream, The Mustad 9575 has a looped eye. Try the Mustad 3665A hooks which are also 6x long and do not have the looped eye. For a 4x long streamer hook I like the Mustad 9674 Straight ring eye, or the 79580

9575s are discontniued. I love that platform to tie on. I would be willing to aquire yours through cash or trade if you are interested. If you wanna trade hook for hook I have a bunch of 3665A in various sizes. 
I love steamers and streamer fishing, I have tried just about every streamer hook made and my favorite is Daiichi 1750. I prefer straight eye hooks, if you like TDE then these hooks aren’t for you.
Actually caddis16, the Mustad 9575 is not discontinued, at least according to my Mustad catalog and my two largest suppliers for my shop. It is still available in sizes 4 to 10 in boxes of 100. Although it is commonly referred to as a 4X long hook it is actually 1/2" longer than nominal hook shank length for the hook size.

Thanks for the offer Jamie. I did a search and found some online so I ordered. Maybe the guy at the local shop meant Orvis discontinued them? Maybe my wife is right and I just don’t listen?

The 9575 is not discontinued. It is available in sizes 4, 6, 8 & 10.
Cricket hooks are good too. I usually mash down the barbs.
Whew. I am a happy camper now. I got a bunch of 9575 in the mail Friday! Sorry for posting bad info on here. 9575 are alive and well and IMHO the nicest streamer hook on the market.
