Storage

It’s apparently this is beyond you, just pack it up and ship it all to me, I’ll take care of it for you. No. really you have had some great suggestions, but you will have to find what works best for you and your work area. Not to mention maybe a wife and her temperament. Congratulations on the inheritance.

one of these days I am going to come across an old library card catalog with many many drawers…nirvana, baby!!

I just got this one from Jo-Ann fabrics. Similar to ducksterman’s, but the drawers vary in size. Also, I see it’s on sale for $41.99. Hmph! I’m kinda ticked off because I just bought mine in person on Saturday and I paid full price. But it’s a nice setup. The top two or three drawers have partitions for small items, the rest are undivided. The larger drawers have clipboard clips in the back.

go to any commic book shop and get yourself a stach of the baseball card holder sheets for a 3 ring binder. they can store a tun of things from goose biolts, dubbing, hooks and the what not. myself i use microsoft access and plastic shoeboxes and what not. the dollar store down by my house has them all the time and their decent. I use a colour code/ number ,meathid for storage.

feathers are stored in blue lids sub devided with numbers bin 1/2/3 ect. fur in black/burgandy numbered the same/ synthetics the same and so on.

then each bin is itemised in acces and master book printed out. makes it real easy to find stuff when i pack it all up and go to boarders or barns and noble to tie for a while.

Check out your local colleges. They tend to surplus them because they no longer use cards. I know Princeton University has a couple in surplus now.

Not that it helps you but…
