Love the stimi you can change the body colors and hackles and size of both to get amazing combo’s

These look great. I like to tie, and fish, these too! I put legs on them and use as a type of hopper/attractor in the late summer. (I put legs on everything I can!)

what type of leg material do you use?
Try wrapping open cell orange foam for the abdomen and palmer your rear hackle through it for a Salmonfly that will never sink unless it’s got a fish attached!

I like Stimulators, but I hate to tie them.
I use round rubber hackle and some silly legs and just good old bungie cord rubber…all used according to colour and size…
I tie the “The Thing From Uranus” from the Fly fisherman mag… as my Salmon fly pattern … you will not get an easier fly to tie or better Salmon Fly imitation…
