Put a steady rest on my rod turner to assist in applying wrap coatings. Wow, what a help! I just may get this rod building down yet!!?? The big problem is the cat! Ok when tying 'cause I can just pull out the fur I need, but sort of a pest when building a rod!!

Ahhh…the cat. I had put the coating on the threads of a rod and left it turning over night. When I checked it the next morning the cat had rubbed against the butt wrap. I think you know what it looked like.
After I calmed down I got a tweezers and one by one pulled each hair out. Fortunately it turned out to be a pretty easy fix.
To fish or not to fish?
