This one is about to take an overnight trip out to Cali so it will find its way under someones Christmas tree in a couple days. Blank is a SCIV 1006-4, reel seat insert is Spalted Maple, hardware is nickle silver BUL5, Grip is custom turned mix of brown burl, copano, burnt and rubberized corks, guides are SF and a knurled winding check. Wraps are Candy Apple Red (no CP) then I did metallic red and mettalic silver trim to help add some color to them.

Awesome job. Those guides look like they’re held in place with rubies & a golden band.
I was going back and look at some past post when I came across this one. This is very nice rod. Love the job and color. I would think that anyone would be happy to own this.
