Without getting into how, where and why, I make weekly squirrel harvest of from 2 to 5 animals. Are their tails any good and/or are they useful in fly tying. Or how bout body hair? Not yet a tier, I would swap these tails for tied flys. We could work out the trade. If anybody is interested, lemme know.

Alec, if you don’t make connections, I have a few fox (red) I could part with. My “harvest” season is only a few weeks away.

I’m interested in a trade. What kind of flies would you like?

DianeID: I live in the desert SW, Midland, TX so I am more interested in Bass/Panfish/Carp flies. Trout is great, but it is a long way to stream. Would collect 5 at a time and send them, time cannot be stated, could be a week, could be two days. Probably looking at a one to one switch, one fly for one tail.

Sounds like fun. We have some small and large mouth bass here, too, although I am primarily a trout/salmon kind of gal. I’ll email and we can set up some details.
