Even though I’m about 2500 miles away now, and the “hatch” is probably petering out by now, thought I’d play around with some Spruce Moths:

Doug Korn’s Spruce Moth (I need to fatten up the body a bit); hint, hint - Doug, hope you post a video of this one

LaFontaine’s Spruce Moth

Hope I’m out there late enough next year to get to use these.

Thanks; #14 Dai Riki 305’s for Wally & Doug’s flies, DR 320 for the LaFontaine (needed a bit more shank to get the spun head to look right).

Nice looking flies Scott and that’s a good idea, maybe I’ll do a video of my Korn’s Spent Spruce Moth… stay tuned!

Subtitles? John have you seen my rough and unedited videos… I’m a rookie at this stuff… I’m not sure I know how to go about adding subtitles, but I’ll check it out and maybe I’ll learn something… I haven’t even learned how to edit my videos yet… I guess it’s about time to get with it… Maybe you have some head phones or ear buds?
