Has anyone tried the split shot companion to remove shot from leaders? Any comments??
No! I save $14.95 by using my thumbnail to spread them back open or use the shot that has the built in tabs on them.
no need, i generally just use sparsley tied, weighted flies and big mends to achieve the depths I need. Yes, even on the Salmon river! and i still manage to catch fish every now and again, somehow.
