Hey Folks,

I have talked to a number of folks here
on FAOL that would like to visit the Santee
Cooper Lakes. As I know a number of retired
military and DOD civilian employees are
included among the membership of FAOL, I
thought they might like to know about a
great facility for them here on the lake.
For those of you that are not eligible, each
eligible person can sponsor 6 others.G I
live two miles away and cheerfully offer my

Hey LF,

That was kind of my thoughts too. The
facilities are nice and you can’t beat the
prices anywhere in these parts. Everything

Sounds like a great time. Coming from Illinois would be quite a hike but I think I can swing it!

Hey Folks,

I heard from Richard at Shortsta today.
We’re getting together one afternoon next
week to check out the facilities and to put
together some info for you. Also, we’ll
take a couple of 3 weights and check out the
on site gill pond and I guess we’d better
check out the service at the Lakeside Lounge too. It’s a dirty job but someone has to do it. Will post more info as I get it. Warm regards, Jim
